Raju, the proprietor is very helpful and accommodating. The cost of lodging is very reasonable and the food is very good and not expensive. WIFI Internet access is available. The rooms are clean and have morning sun with a nice view of the Himalayas. Access requires a climb down from the road, but help is provided with luggage.

2 people found this review helpfulAyush Guest House is tucked away in Papersali just a few kilometers out of Almora. It's a few minutes walk from the road so a reasonable level of fitness is required if you want to stay there. There are rooms with attached kitchen and bathroom, and a beautiful self contained cottage. Everything is provided by the owner Raju who will even do your shopping for you if you don't want to walk up the hill. Rooms have TV and DVD players, kitchen also is fully kitted out and an organic garden is underway also.
Quiet, peaceful and wonderful views.
Absolutely recommended for a romantic getaway, a meditation or artist retreat.
